Tired from a day of shopping… dragging my heels- my poor avatar feet aching and swollen, I stumbled upon a fragrant flowery gate announcing the entry to Wings Wands and Wonders. It promised to be a place where the “Magic of Fae and Mortal Meet”. I perked up a bit and walked through. Talk about a cup of coffee! This place is simply gorgeous! It’s different from the other sims here at Fantasy Faire… the stores range from olden castle to weathered treehouses. This mix tells a story of a people adapting and living side by side- I love it!
Winding roads and alleys reveal beautiful trees and flowers- the air itself sparkles. Here you’ll find wings for your fairy, food for her sustenance and spells for enchanting. The Arcanum is a set of four stores right as you walk into this gathering of merchants of the mystical. Zachh Barkley has made real magic here with some amazing spell huds for your enjoyment- dont miss him. Do you hear the waterfall? That’s coming from Stones of Heaven- and after this long day it IS heaven to just sit here and relax in this beautiful marketplace. Restored and revived, I was ready to see more!

Sweet Revenge at Dark Realms…
June 20, 2009There must be a million sims in SL and he had to show up in this one- tall dark and gorgeous…he was the avie who broke my heart when I was a fresh and innocent little newb. Figures I’d run into him here at the Dark Realms section of the Fantasy Faire. When I first saw him I tried hiding in the stores of the area’s sponsor. Even with Woodshed’s gothic furniture between us he still heard the pounding of my heart and sauntered over. “How’ve you been?” he asked as his eyes slid appreciatively over my newly acquired outfit from Vendom. (Vendalia Foxtrot really knows how to make a guy sweat)”not too bad” I murmured, turning my back; partly to hide any nervousness, but also to show off the gorgeous attire that hugged my shape. As I headed off towards Endless Pain Tatoos I felt his eyes upon me. “IM me sometime ” showed up in local chat right before I muted him.

Many scientists suggest the future for human kind exists underwater. The ocean, as we all know, takes up the majority of our earth. And if there really is a mer future for my legacy generations, I perhaps would be very happy for them. In the meantime, The Mer Market SIM of the Fantasy Faire has everything any mer could possibly want, plus it’s such a nice SIM to simply wander (or swim) around.

Underneath the Sector SciFi there is a large kiosk holding the Fantasy Faire RFL Auction items. I happened to arrive by at the same time as one of the Friends Fighting Cancer team members was there also, so sorry for having her in the picture also (unless she wants to be in it, lol).
