Visitors on the last day of Fantasy Faire
June 21, 2009Today, after suffering from copious second life problems, visiting the Fantasy Faire became a relaxing distraction. Although my timing means I seldom suffer much lag at the nine SIMs, Sunday found only a few visitors, and time to speak with some of them. While I tp’ed around various sims on the hunt for the Fantasy Faire ribbons, I met some interesting FF visitors. Here are three photos I’d like to feature for you.
Lacey Peterson was enjoying Dark Realms with a friend when I overheard the fortuous quote -
“the bigger the elf ears, the older the elf. I’m ancient.”
Lacey certainly has big ears, if that’s anything to go by with an elf. She was enjoying the Dark Realms sim in full elven garb, but wanted to ensure the FF blog readers were not confused by her avatar name. It’s Lacey Peterson, not Laci, who was apparently a murder victim in California. Second Life’s Lacey lives in a different state – and state of reality in her elven guise. I enjoyed my brief time with Lacey, even witnessing her posing in front of a shop, relaxing on the grass as I ran on by later.
At Dark Realms I also met Rayne Wonder, wearing a lovely neko outfit. Rayne told me it’s too hard to nominate a favourite part of the Fantasy Faire (and I mentally slapped my face for even thinking to ask her that question). But then, she did change her hair three times while I was speaking with her, so perhaps – like me, Rayne is multi-dextrous in her likes.
And Rayne did have a blast at the Neko shops and Industrial Park, as can be seen by her outfit, picked up from the neko stores.
Rayne is searching the Fantasy Faire for ribbons on the hunt. So am I, for that matter. And like me, she thinks the Fantasy Faire should be running longer than the week it has been, so that we can take it all in. She decided the photo of her first hair, in purple was quite appropriate to the Fantasy Faire.
In Via Obscurium I encountered four different tinies meeting up in the tinies store, Whynx’s Whimsical Wonders. They were having such a great time, I didn’t want to interrupt them. I hope they don’t mind their photo appearing here. Although if I hint at ND/MD who are one of the stores at Fantasy Faire, you may guess at who each tiny may be.
Incidentally, there has just been announced a huge sale at the store at Fantasy Faire. Teleport into Elvencourt to pick up some excellent skins from the Babelfish or Munro collections at shocking prices. These include mermaid outfits. Look for the Babelfish store.
