Let me try and describe what you might see when you visit –
Eight paths radiate out from the landing point below through beautiful meadows to massive gates each built to reflect the theme of the sim beyond:
The massive gargoyles who loom over the gates to Dark Realms might give you pause. Within is a land of shadow and fire. Dark stone and twisted trees warn that you are entering a market of the macabre. Getting in is easy! Getting out is not so certain…;
Twisted wreckage and flaming debris mark the entrance to Neko Industrial Park. In this post-urban brave new world it pays to be curious. Long ago, a company named New-teK.Org owned this sprawling industrial area. It belongs to the Neko now and all that remains of the former occupants is their malfunctioning sign at the gate;
Ghostly stallions charge past the gates of Avatopia. Beyond lies a heavenly and idyllic land where you can transform your avatar and apparel to release the Fantastic within yourself!
A huge arched gate of beautiful interwoven flowered vines welcomes you to Wings Wands & Wonders where magic and faeries abound within, hidden between beautiful trees covered with stars and spiderwebs;
Glittering spires of an elegant castle with green banners flying pulls you to Elvencourt, the magical home of elves set amongst the sweeping branches of the huge oaks and flowered meadows in the glades of the forest;
Even the Greeks never built on so grand a scale! For 10, 000 years the Via Obscurium has been the gateway to all things Rare and Arcane. The Atlanteans pay no mind the brooding volcano which shares their domain. They trust the Twin Goddesses of Atlantis who stand watch at the Via’s great gate to keep them and their ancient culture safe!;
A soaring arch of mermaids draws you to the watery depths below the azure waters and tranquil islands to The Mer-Market where you’ll find a magical world populated by schools of fish, collapsed ancient ruins and jewel encrusted homes of the elusive merfolk. And yet there is something hauntingly familiar of this place … as if you’ve been here before … and then it strikes you, the buildings are the same as you saw in Via Obscurium but well worn with age, with crumbling pillars and broken statues;
Spinning light and balls pull you through the gates to Sector Sci Fi where a huge molten ball teleports you upwards to a stunning vista of stars, planets, spinning asteroids and nebulae. You can either sit for a while in the hang out spot absorbing the beautiful depths of space or traverse the spinning asteroid bridges that connect floating platforms of our Futurists;
I’m getting excited! Are you?
5 days to the Fantasy Faire 2009!
