Its one of those things about life, Real life and Second Life… This morning I had a friend IM me, earnestly telling me that he was disillusioned with SL. He… couldn’t pin the exact reason. I told him that many of us get to that place at some time or another. He agreed with me when I suggested he should sleep on it. The reason I bring that up is that is that it caused me to reflect a little about Second Life through the day.
Now, this is an example of one of life’s synchronicities for me. Because… This same evening I got to meet two of the most vibrant, creative, intelligent and dedicated people in Second Life and I got to tour three of their masterpiece builds. And these are some rare jewels in SL that make your RL persona do a double take. And… it struck me… the fruits of these two people, cause anyone to be inspired with what Second Life can offer.
This is the thing about SL. If I can borrow from Forest Gump “its like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get.” So, too were the treats that I got to share as Leha Zenovka, my photographer, and I were toured around by Lauren Thibaud and Zander Greene, certainly two Master Builders of Second Life, and serious humanitarians in Real Life as they are dedicated organizers of the Fantasy Faire 2009 supporting the Relay for Life of the American Cancer Society through “Friends Fighting Cancer”.
