Friends Fighting Cancer (FFC) is proud to announce that our goal of NINE SIMS for the Fantasy Faire 2009 has been reached thanks to our generous Sponsors and the phenomenal number of Creators who have joined our ranks. We aimed high and can now say with certainty that more than a half a million square meters of Second Life will be transformed into SL’s largest gathering of Fantasy creators, performers and enthusiasts. From June 15th to the 21st they’ll all converge at this benefit for Relay for Life. The Faire will consist of eight full sims of themed areas and a Central Events sim. Elves, Neko, Goth, Fae, Furries, Futurists; you’ll find them all at the Fantasy Faire 2009.
But there is more good news to share! Joining us in this premiere event will be the internet TV talk show Life On Line. This program, produced by Steve Cropper, is broadcast on more than 30 web sites to a global audience of over 90,000 viewers. Life On Line is about how we stay in touch, work and play, how we are entertained and informed – online. Life On Line visits virtual worlds and social networks, showcasing exciting new talent and talking to newsmakers across the internet. FFC is honored to welcome Life On Line as the Media Sponsor of the Fantasy Faire 2009!
Zander Greene of FFC will be Steve’s guest on the June 15th broadcast of Life On Line. In addition to this web-wide kick off to the Faire, a special live edition of Life On Line will be produced on the Fantasy Faire Central Events Sim during the week the Faire is open. Steve and his team will also be shooting video during the Faire to help FFC preserve the magic we are all collectively about to create.

Steve joins us at the perfect moment as the story we have to tell grows more exciting every day. If you’ve been following that story on the Fantasy Faire web site you’ve already met some of the Sponsors of the Fantasy Faire 2009. Look for more interviews with our generous Corporate partners in the days ahead. They represent many diverse businesses but they are united in their support of the Faire and the mission of Relay for Life.
